Ibrahim Owolabi AMBALI, is a Lecturer in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Ilorin. He has served as the Students’ Level Adviser, Departmental Examination Officer, and a two terms Faculty of Engineering and Technology Representative to the Board of Examiners in the Faculty of Communication and Information Science.

He has to his credit over Twenty publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings and chapters in book. He has successfully supervised undergraduate projects and currently at the UniversitiSains Malaysia for his PhD Program.

His area of interest is Surface and coating; Materials for high temperature oxidation, Material behavior and Material characterization. He is a registered member of the Council for the regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a corporate member of the society of Engineers (MNSE)

  • PhD in view at School of Materials and Minerals Resources Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia. Malaysia
  • Master of Science (Metallurgical and Materials Engineering). University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.
  • Bachelor of Engineering ( Metallurgical and Materials Engineering). University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos.
