Dr. Kabiru Suleiman AJAO is a lecturer in the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He obtained B.Eng. and M.Eng. Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria, and PhD Degree, also in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Materials and Metallurgy, from the famous Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria.

He has served in various capacities such as Undergraduate Students Academic Adviser, Departmental Examinations Officer, SIWES Coordinator, Postgraduate/Seminar Coordinator, Chairman of the Foundry Management Committee, Member of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Students Certificate Screening Committee, Member of the University Committee on Student’s Work-Study Programs on Campus, among other administrative responsibilities.

His research interests are in the area of Advanced/Sustainable Materials Development with particular interest in Composite Materials. He has attended several learned conferences, authored and co-authored over twenty-five (25) research articles in various reputable local, national, and international journals. He is married and blessed with children.
